Faculty tours
New or returning UVM faculty? Phil Morin, Manager of Campus and Community Engagement, will guide new and returning faculty through a tour of the Museum to talk through all of your options for partnering with us on assignments, class visits, research, and more. Tours will meet in the lobby at 12pm and will last approx. 1 hour on Wednesday, 9/10, Thursday, 9/11, Wednesday, 9/24 and Thursday, 9/25!

Scheduling a Group Visit
There are so many ways to engage with the Fleming Museum of Art. Whether you're a student, educator, or community member, group visits are an opportunity to observe, ask questions, share perspectives, and reflect on the role of objects and art in our lives. Group visits begin with a welcome from one of our staff members and an overview of what is on view.
If you are planning to visit the Museum with a group of 8 or more individuals (including UVM faculty-led classes), please complete the form linked below and a staff member will help you with arrangements.
Scheduling the Learning Studio
The Learning Studio is where UVM faculty, students, and the public can gain a closer look at the art and objects of our collections in a unique gallery-meets-classroom setting.
While the Learning Studio can accommodate up to 20 students at a time, larger classes may split up and rotate through other galleries during the visit. Students and faculty may also request to view objects for their own studies. If you want help identifying objects in the collection relevant to your class topic, make a note on the request form. Please make your request at least four weeks in advance.

Students and faculty utilize our diverse collections for research and coursework across various disciplines. From art history to environmental science, the Fleming Museum serves as a dynamic space for dialogue, research, and critical thinking.

Bring your students for an enriching experience at the museum!
