Data Services

Vermonters need better access to community and economic development data to drive their planning and decision making.

At the Leahy Institute, we have long supported the proliferation of data resources to Vermont communities. When we facilitate the sharing of data, it increases accessibility, usability, and translation of data into real-world outcomes.

Since 2021, we have been providing community and economic development data reports to hundreds of partners across the state, including all of the Regional Development Corporations, and many municipalities, state agencies, non-profit organizations, and businesses. If you are looking for support on using indicators of community and economic wellbeing in your work,

Our vision for the data services program is to expand the way the 91°µÍøÊÓƵ offers data to communities, through collaboratively developed dashboards, tools, and datasets. We are proud to be partnering with the and Center for Rural Studies to explore better ways to bring data to communities.
