What is Integrative Healthcare?

Integrative Healthcare reaffirms the importance of the relationship between practitioner and patient, focuses on the whole person, is informed by evidence, and makes use of appropriate therapeutic approaches and healthcare professionals to achieve optimal health and healing.

Integrative healthcare brings conventional and complementary care together in a coordinated way. Complementary physical and/or psychological therapies include tai chi, yoga, acupuncture, massage, spinal manipulation, expressive arts, music, mindfulness, and more.
