BIO

Denir Djozic, BSN, RN, CPN (he/him) is a Health Care Nurse with Student Health Services at the Center for Health & Wellbeing. He received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the 91°µÍøÊÓÆµ in 2017 and earned his Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN) credential through PNCB in 2021. 

Following his graduation from UVM, Denir cultivated diverse pediatric and neonatal experience across various inpatient and outpatient hospital settings, including pediatric/neonatal intensive care. Additionally, Denir acted as a Substitute School Nurse with Colchester School District and as a Pediatric Clinical Instructor with Norwich University. Most recently, Denir served as a Staff RN IV at the 91°µÍøÊÓÆµ Medical Center, providing complex care coordination and infusion/procedural support to pediatric hematology/oncology patients and their families. 

Denir's professional interests include LGBTQIA+ affirming care, sexual/reproductive health, harm reduction, and chronic illness management. Denir is passionate about creating safe, inclusive, and collaborative environments where patients feel respected, heard, and empowered in their healthcare journeys. Outside of work, Denir enjoys traveling, the performing arts, spending time outdoors, and connecting with friends and family. Moreover, Denir is a proud cat dad of Juicy Couture, who provides daily reminders about the value of comfort, curiosity, and well-timed naps.
