Zoraya has worked on environmental and social justice issues across the globe and in her local communities for over 10 years. Her experience covers diverse issues and geographies from renewable energy finance in Kosovo and water access in Tanzania to fishery sustainability in the Philippines. Zoraya is currently the Senior Director of Finance and Operations at Outright Vermont. Previous roles include U.S. Managing Director for Nature For Justice, Executive Director at the Peace & Justice Center, and Innovation Manager at Resonance Global. Zoraya also served on the Burlington City Council (Vermont) for four years after winning a seat as the first woman of color elected in 2020.
